The Running Horse gallery has just confirmed that I am to have a solo show there for June/July 2011, very exciting news!

We are in talks of probably showing the full extent of my project In Your Home, on which I have been working on the last 2 years, marking the end of my secretive squanderings...

Hopefully, the exhibition will be accompanied with the launch of an In Your Home book. So if you are a publisher out there somewhere interested in publishing the book, do get in touch!

In the meantime, my first solo show at Zico House gallery, in Beirut, is scheduled for the end of July, so watch this space for more details.

You are cordially invited to the opening of Counting Thoughts, a collective show at the Running Horse Gallery, Beirut, where I'll be exhibiting 2 new photographic works: "Insomnia is a 4-Letter Word" and "Laurie".

"An interdisciplinary group show inviting female artists of different nationalities to present works that reflect their thoughts on their own womanhood in a free context"

The private view is next Thursday 21st April, from 6pm. Come and crush a cup of wine!

Come to The Dig's Love Equinox exhibition/event night at Passing Clouds in Dalston, this coming Thursday 18th March, where I will be exhibiting a new photographic piece.

As well as performances from live bands and musicians, The Dig’s Love Equinox will bring together a host of innovative artists, writers, contemporary dancers, film makers and more to explore every fascinating element of love; from the beautiful, sensual, and erotic through to the dark, dastardly and bizarre.
Expect to see an erotic life drawing class from ‘Burlesque Space’, provocative silent film screenings (a medley of cult, boundary breaking classics, 30’s vintage erotica and risqué artistic shorts) and obscure and deviant imagery as we explore romance, affection, obsession, infatuation, fanaticism, heartbreak and rejection.

"The Eye" seems to have become my pièce de resistance these days! It is showing at
The Running Horse contemporary art gallery in Beirut, Lebanon, from February 8th. The collective show Soft Sculpture is also featuring works by Ziad Antar, Hiba Kalache and Ziad Saad (my longtime lover and muse).

I am currently represented by The Running Horse gallery, and am to be featured in another collective exhibition Women by women in April. This time, I will be showing new photographic work (and possibly some sculpture, but that's between you and me...)
Very excited to be part of the Running Horse roster, since the gallery is focusing on new and emerging artists from the Middle East, which is a nice change from the habitual names linked to the Lebanese art scene.

Come on down to the opening on the 8th if you're around!

My video piece "The Eye" was selected to be screened at the Annual PixelPops! video event at the BolteLang contemporary art gallery in Zurich, this year entitled The Corridor.

The show opens on December 2nd and runs til January, so pop on down to see the selected videos if you happen to stroll by Zurich...

I just got back from a trip to Reykjavik, shooting the Iceland Airwaves 09 music festival for DazedDigital.com. Needless to say it was manic, impressive, magical, freezing, sleep-depriving, the wildest most intimate festival I've ever been to...

While out there, I shot the Icelandic band For a Minor Reflection, which are definitely worth checking out! They're playing at the Lexington in London on Nov 2nd.

I'll be posting the pictures on my photoblog soon!

Just a little note about Monika magazine, which featured some of my photography for their first issue, namely images I shot of Blackfriars Bridge for them, which you can see here on my blog.

Monika is a gem of a little publication which I highly recommend. They will be holding a stand at the upcoming "Published and Be Damned" event for self-publishing on September 27th at Oxford House, Derbyshire Street E2 6HG.

My project Poses was awarded the Carl Garnham Prize for Photographic Media, which was quite an honour.

The Graduate Show 2009 was very successful, with over 30,000 visitors in its 10-day run. I am officially an MA RCA graduate, and, well, pat on the back to me and the class of 2009. Thanks to everyone who came down!
